Pay Rate: $21-$25 per hour
PPE Required: Respirator- Due to the nature of the powder coating products being used, it is crucial to always wear a respirator to ensure safety and health.
Location: Fremont, CA

Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Product Technician to join our team in Fremont, CA. The primary responsibility of this role is machining ceramic parts, but the technician will be trained for multiple processes. These processes include sanding, grinding, milling, sawing, and using measuring tools to produce parts that meet customer requirements. Due to the nature of the powder coating products being used, it is crucial to always wear a respirator to ensure safety and health.


Key Responsibilities:
Machine ceramic parts using different tools and techniques.
Handle and load powder into elastomeric tooling to process semi-densified parts.
Follow in-house work instructions and perform specific tasks under the Team Lead's supervision.
Assist in other shop areas as needed for various projects.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must pass a background check and drug test.

Skills and Training:
Training in handling toxic materials and respirator testing (CDTE).
Willingness to receive respirator training due to toxic materials.
Cross-training in bonding mechanical parts, including powder coating.
Transferable skills in machining and bonding powder materials.
Construction experience.
Proficiency in measurements and quality control.
Ability to handle heavy lifting and tools.
Mechanically inclined.
Experience with powder coating is a plus.
Previous safety training on respirators is beneficial.
Willingness to work with toxic chemicals (training provided).
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong willingness to learn.
2-3 years of manufacturing experience.
