ABOUT THE ROLE
As a CBRE Union Stationary Engineer, you will be responsible for
working, repairing, providing ongoing maintenance on various pieces
of building equipment and systems.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job
function and is responsible for providing support, preventive
maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Should any element of this Job Description conflict with the
provisions of an applicable collective bargaining agreement, the
terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement will
prevail.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United
States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the
future.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping,
standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to
lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple
sources of information.
Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include
Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex
figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related
calculations.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Universal CFC certification preferred. Additional certification in
one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and
refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power
transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state
jurisdictions.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable
Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the role
is $144,601 annually [or $69.52 per hour]. Please refer to the
Collective Bargaining Agreement and local union regarding pay scale
and benefits.
