Overview Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with
more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is
looking to add a physician to our busy Occupational Medicine
Department at our Big Horn Clinic in Elk Grove, CA.Among the
services provided at MMG Occupational Medicine are the treatment of
work-related injuries such as lacerations, multiple body strains,
fractures, acute eye injuries and foreign bodies, etc. We also
provide pre-employment physical examinations, DOT and Hazmat
physical examinations, physician certified MRO services for
employment drug testing, onsite audiometry and pulmonary function
testing, and mask-fit testing. We provide fit for duty examinations
as well as employer requested recommendations on ergonomics,
chemical exposures etc., among additional services.MMG Occupational
Medicine provides evidence-based medical treatment in a timely and
effective manner while remaining cost effective with work related
injuries for both prompt return to work and closure of cases. We

- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and
histories.Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare
teams.
- Provide clear and concise medical information.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to
healthcare.Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

regulations.Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and

guidelines. Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in in OM/IM/FP/EM: UC
trained
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
- Experience in worker compensation services and speficif note
reporting, PR-2/PR-4s, etc.
- DOT CertificationPay Range$132.00 - $139.00 /hourCompensation
