Job Description:
The Cash Management Sales Officer is a strategic professional
who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts
them for application within their job and the business. This role
typically involves a small number of people within the business
that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication
skills are required to negotiate internally, often at a senior
level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are necessary
to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues
in other areas and occasional external customers. The role is
accountable for significant direct business results or
authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business,
necessitating a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.
It primarily affects a sub-function and includes handling staff
management issues, including resource management and allocation of
work within the team/project.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for actively calling on clients in partnership with
RMs to deepen relationships, proactively owning, responding to, and
anticipating future needs, challenges, or risks, in addition to
identifying and pursuing new clients aligned with CITI's value
proposition.
- Drives innovation on the solutions we provide clients while
structuring deals to balance risk and reward.
- Serves as a strategic advisor to RM and Client.
- Shares knowledge with other sales consultants and junior
staff.
- Provides input on business strategy and executes on
initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's
policies/guidelines at all times.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made,
demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation
and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving
compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering
to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal
behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing,
and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:
- 10+ years of commercial banking experience, preferably within
roles of increasing responsibility.
- Undergraduate business degree, advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of initiating, executing, and growing
complex client relationships.Education:
- Bachelor's degree, potentially Master's degree.This job
