- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns
or questions.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
services for vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for any potential issues or areas that require
attention.
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and
fluid level checks.
- Basic computer knowledge/aptitude
- Keep track of inventory and ensure all supplies are readily
available.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working
environment.Requirements
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple
tasks.
- Able to learn and follow the VIOC SuperPro process for all
services.
- Achieve SuperPro certification.
- Must have reliable transportation.Essential Functions
- Inspecting and replacing car lights and wipers.
- Check fluid levels and add fluids to vehicle when
necessary.
- Inspect/replace engine air filter and cabin air filter.
- Add oil to engine in the proper amount based on specifications
of vehicle make/model.
- Able to remove/rotate/lift/reinstall tires for tire rotation
service.
- Lubricate necessary components of the chassis/driveline.
- Perform additional services on cooling systems and
transmissions.
- Perform second checks by visually verifying and performing
proper callouts to ensure all necessary services have been
performed correctly.
- Able to move from bay to bay to perform services on multiple
vehicles.
- Frequently ascends/descends stairs/catwalks/stepstools to
retrieve vehicle parts (filters, wipers, etc.) or perform services
top side or underneath the vehicle (drain oil, replace filter,
differential services, lubrication)
- Able to work for extended periods of time with arms above your
head when performing services underneath the vehicle on a
catwalk.
- Constantly positions self to perform required services under
the hood, related to tires, or on catwalk working underneath the
vehicle.
- Able to move/transport items up to approximately 50
pounds.
- Able to work with tools to perform duties in tight sometimes
hard to reach areas.
- Communicate verbally and receive verbal communication to ensure
services are performed accurately, safely and in the proper
order.Environment
- In this position you will be subject to environmental
conditions. Activities occur inside and outside and in varying
temperature conditions.
- In this position you will be subject to noise. There is
sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard
above ambient noise level.
- In this position you will be subject to hazards. Includes a
variety of conditions including but not limited to proximity to
moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current,
exposure to high heat, and exposure to chemicals.
- In this position you will be subject to atmospheric conditions.
One or more of the following conditions that may affect the
respiratory system or skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases,
restricted ventilation.
- In this position you will be required to function in narrow
aisles or passageways such as catwalks.The above description is not
