skills and improves patient outcomes.The Director, Strategic
Projects will report into the Sr. Director, Strategy and Planning
and is a leading expert individual contributor who manages the
strategic planning, design and tactical execution of large-scale
supply chain strategic programs for Johnson & Johnson Surgical
Robotics supply chain. The Director, Strategic Projects is the
technical leader with accountability for the performance of highly
complex projects, leading flawless project execution, and
partnering across multiple stakeholder groups at all levels to
drive project delivery for large strategic programs including, but
not limited to driving innovation to ensure safety and quality,
reducing cost and schedule, leading on learning adoption internally
and externally, overseeing commissioning, qualification and
validation of FDA and other agency regulated facilities, technology
transfer and regulations governing product manufacturing.This role
is responsible for managing and ensuring the progress throughout
the project leading the expedition of key activities across the
function, finding solutions to key problems, and communicating
project progress, issues and solutions to management and to the
project team. This individual is also responsible for training and
mentoring Project Managers (internal and external) to develop
leadership skills and capabilities in project ideation and
deliveryA suitable candidate for this role will have excellent
leadership experience on all aspects of project management end to
end including ideation and business value realization for complex
capital projects. They will also have sound experience and
knowledge of process engineering and industry experience in medical
devices.This role requires strong collaboration skills and
partnership with R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Regulatory
Affairs, Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Human
Resources, Finance and Corporate teams, and external partners.Major
