Job Description:
Overview: Our company was co-founded by Prof. Yi Cui, Director
of Precourt Institute Stanford University and CEO Meng Sui from
EEnotech Group, Inc. After joining the general water technology,
our water purification ion product and service will dine into
China, US, Asia, Europe. In this role you'll be assisting in the
research and development efforts of water purification
technologies. You will work closely with a team of engineers and
scientists to design, test, and optimize water treatment
technology. Your work will contribute to the development of
innovative solutions to improve water quality. Key
Responsibilities: Water Sample Preparation & Testing Prepare test
water solutions according to daily research requirements,
particularly for disinfection and heavy metal water treatment
projects. Measure, record, and analyze water quality parameters
such as pH, TDS, Hardness, COD, and heavy metal concentrations to
support research objectives. Experiment Assistance Assist
scientists and engineers in executing daily test plans, conducting
laboratory experiments, and collecting data. Organize and conduct
preliminary data analysis to support research conclusions and
technical reports. Prototype Development & Testing Design and
modify 3D models of filtration systems to support R&D
technology iterations. Utilize 3D printing machines to print,
assemble, and maintain water purification prototypes. Conduct both
short- and long-term performance tests on prototypes, identifying
and reporting operational issues for continuous improvement. Market
& Technical Research Research, evaluate, and procure competitive
products for benchmarking and analysis. Analyze emerging water
treatment technologies and monitor industry advancements to support
innovation. Stay updated on water quality regulations, industry
standards, and test protocols to ensure compliance and best
practices. Technical Support for Multiple Projects Participate in
technical discussions and contribute to product design across
multiple simultaneous research projects. Collaborate with a diverse
team, including scientists, equipment engineers, and technicians,
to drive project success. Multitasking & Cross-functional Support
Manage and execute multiple tasks as assigned by the direct
manager, ensuring efficiency and timely project completion.
Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's
degree in Environmental Engineering, Material Engineering, Chemical
Engineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in
electrochemistry, water treatment, purification systems, or
environmental engineering (internships or co-op experience is
acceptable). Experience in laboratory research, prototype testing,
or field studies related to water treatment technology. Familiarity
with literature review, technical analysis, and research proposal
development to guide project directions. Technical Skills: Water
Treatment Expertise: Knowledge of water treatment processes (e.g.,
filtration, reverse osmosis, UV disinfection, chemical treatment).
Basic understanding of electrochemistry principles and their
applications in water purification. Regulatory & Compliance
Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental and industry regulations
and standards (e.g., EPA, NSF water related standards). Ability to
interpret and apply regulatory standards to ensure compliance in
product development and research projects. Water Quality Testing &
Data Analysis: Hands-on experience with water quality testing
methods (e.g., pH, turbidity, hardness, TDS, conductivity, heavy
metals detection, COD/BOD analysis). Proficiency in analytical
techniques such as ICP-MS, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and
chromatography methods for water contaminants detection. Ability to
analyze, interpret, and report water quality data for research and
product development. Engineering & Software Skills: Basic
proficiency in AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or other engineering design
software for system modeling and prototype development Ability to
use data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, or Python) for water
quality assessment, statistical analysis, and experimental data
processing Laboratory & Safety Knowledge: Experience working in
laboratory environments, following safety protocols for handling
chemicals, hazardous materials, and lab equipment. Knowledge of
OSHA lab safety regulations, including chemical hygiene plans and
hazardous waste disposal guidelines. Ability to develop risk
assessments and safety protocols for experimental procedures. Soft
Skills: Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical
thinking skills. Ability to identify challenges in water treatment
processes and propose innovative solutions. Effective verbal and
written communication skills for technical discussions, reporting,
and documentation. Ability to present findings clearly to both
technical and non-technical audiences. Experience collaborating
with cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and
business stakeholders. Adaptability & Continuous Learning:
Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies, research
methodologies, and engineering approaches. Willingness to adapt to
new challenges in R&D and explore emerging trends in water
purification. Time Management & Multitasking: Ability to prioritize
and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously in a fast-paced
research environment. Strong organizational skills to ensure
efficient workflow and meeting project deadlines. Willingness to
travel for site assessments and fieldwork if required.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required): Engineer-in-Training
(EIT) certification or working towards PE licensure. OSHA 40-hour
HAZWOPER certification (for fieldwork in hazardous environments).
Experience with industrial-scale water treatment applications.
Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $56,000 - $80,000 Annual
