• Work with Quality Assurance to help create tests and documentation that will improve solutions.
• Create and release examples and tutorials that are shipped with our products.
• Develop and/or refine methodology employed in creating and using prototypes, and maximizing the value of our prototyping solution.
• Ensure existing customers maximize the value they receive by developing and enhancing methodology that exploits capabilities.
• Interface with customer engineers and managers to develop or enhance complex computer-aided engineering design, manufacturing processes, or use complex design and tooling tasks involving multiple design environments.
• Communicate software problems to product development.
• Assist other engineers in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale complex graphical application programs on multiple software products and hardware platforms.
• Provide business and technical feedback to software and hardware vendors.
• Use advanced data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines.
• Debug complex functional problems on digital circuits using VLSI CAD tools.
• Remodel small integrated circuit blocks to fit in the FPGA prototyping flow.
• Analyze RTL netlist to evaluate whether VLSI CAD resulted in an optimal solution.
• Implement scripts for tight integration between VLSI CAD tools and user environments.Requirements:Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Product Engineer-related occupation.Position requires experience in the following:
• Working with VLSI, Digital Design Verification, FPGA Prototyping, Synthesis, C/C++, Verilog, and VHDL.
• FPGA design, FPGA tools and STA.
• Debug of RTL designs and simulation.
• EDA tools for FPGA synthesis: Vivado or Quartus.30% domestic and international travel required. 50% telecommuting permitted within commutable distance.
